We were lucky enough to have Karen Marceaux as our realtor and won’t ever use anyone else! We were on the hunt for a unique home that seemed like it didn’t exist in the area but we put her up to the challenge. Jodi and her very qualified and professional team helped us tremendously to have a very smooth sale of our condo. During the process Jodi and her team, especially Corri, were very quick to respond to our questions and/or concerns, handled all the items needing attention from the inspection report. Besides great real estate skills, Jodi has a law degree which gives her added value to clients looking for rental, lease or other non-traditional real estate investments. She always has her cellphone with her, linking e-mail, text messages, etc. no matter whether it is a week-day or a week-end. As a long-time local resident, she knows lots about the area and is familiar with many of the real estate agents/agencies to make the negotiation process as smooth as possible.
So I met Jodi in 2017 from a referral of a patient. Having just moved to Destin in 2016 I had dozens (maybe hundreds) of realtors offering their help to buy a house, very few of them were genuine and mostly pushing to buy a house when I wasn't ready or a house I wasn't interested in just for a commission. I choose Jodi because she never pressured me before I was ready, actually listened to what I wanted to buy and tailored the houses to what I needed. She basically mentored me through the house buying process because it was my first house, and being my first house I was unfamiliar with the process and nervous. She really walked me through the process step by step and also referred us to everyone we needed to use (contractors, inspectors, title companies.) It was a pretty seamless process start to finish. Also, she was able to help me negotiate the offer down over 20,000 dollars and to look at the house before it was officially listed so I had the jump on it. This allowed me to get the funds ready ahead of time and make the offer quickly to avoid competition, thus bringing down the price further. There were times in closing where I would message her well after work hours (which is rude and I shouldn't have done) and she would answer, even on vacation. To be honest, it was nice to find someone who was more worried about me than a commission check and actually went the extra mile to make sure I got what I wanted and was educated along the process. I wouldn't use anyone else in town.
Jodie sold my home in 1 day and took care of everything for me to ensure my sale went through on time and without ant hitches. Totally professional and has fantastic knowledge of the real estste business.

I’ve used a few realtors in the past to both buy and sell, and Ketchersid Team stacks up there as the best. This was our first purchase in Florida and they took care of all the details, looked at several houses and negotiated well to get a good price. Even more special is that after the house was in contract, Ketchersid Team remained engaged to the end…. Honestly, there are many great real estate agents in Okaloosa and Walton Counties -- no denying that. It's a strong market. But with Kyle, you get the complete package: top professional ability combined with genuine kindness and warmth. If we're ever fortunate enough to return to northwest Florida, our first "We need a house!" call would definitely be to Kyle.

Not only was Suellen professional in her dealings She was over the top responsive and helpful in obtaining an attorney to close our transaction and a contractor to renovate the property. Five stars is not enough for Suellen.

Melissa was a joy to work with every day! My husband and I were going through the process of purchasing our 1st home ever. She had answers to all of our questions and was available to talk 24/7. If she couldn't answer her phone at the time we called (which was rare!) she called us back within a few hours. One of our favorite things about her was that she knew smart, reliable people in the area to complete our inspection, our VA loan, and WDO inspection. Once we found Melissa, my husband and I did hardly any work!! My husband and I are moving to Florida from out of state. Due to COVID-19 we had to buy our house virtually. Melissa made that process a breeze. She Face-timed us at least 4-5 times to show us every inch of the house. She took still pictures and sent us videos of each room.
